Please Bring Back the Old Version

"I absolutely loved these shoes and have worn 7–8 pairs over the years. Unfortunately, the new version is a big disappointment, and I ended up returning my recent orders. Are there any plans to bring back the old version? I really hope you do, because the previous design was much better."

Best flats ever!

"I never thought ballet flats could be so comfortable! I have debated these shoes for well over a year and finally bit the bullet…glad I did as they are so comfy and worth the $$"

New version horrible

"Was a big fan of the older design, they were my go to in multiple colours. Now I find they’re narrower, cause blisters, and the insole is slippery and I find myself sometimes losing my shoe or slipping on the sidewalk. It’s a shame they changed a good thing. Bring the old design back!"

Terrible! Sent the wrong size and won’t exchange

"I ordered a these to replace my last pair and when I put them on they had a different inner sole so I thought maybe just snug. After an hour of wear I can’t wear them as they are too small. I check underneath the 8. 5 marked inner sole and the base of the shoes is stamped 8. I compare it with my last pair and they are stamped 8. 5 and are much wider. Not only did they cheapen the soles and the fabric but they refused to exchange these even though they messed up and offered me 15% off! For the price of these shoes and the very poor quality compared to my last pair I expected better. Honestly I used to swear by these shoes I’ve bought them multiple times. Now I couldn’t tell the difference between these and my Kmart ones. Don’t expect quality in the product or the service. Such a waste of money that I really couldn’t afford to begin with."

"Love these shoes, they are so comfy and really easy to clean."

Fabulous everyday shoes - no blisters!!

"I loved the old version of these shoes so I was skeptical getting the new version after seeing the bad reviews. The new version is great too. The outside is pretty much exactly the same. What changed is the insole, which seems a little thicker (and comfier). I think customers feel that the new version slips off because the insole is thicker therefore sits a bit higher in the shoe. It was true at first but after 2 days of wearing them the insole settles/flattens a bit and the shoe doesn't slip off anymore. They're the only ballet flats that don't give me blisters!! Perfect for summer, I wear them everyday. They're very classy because they are narrow and slim (most ballet flats look chunky on my narrow feet). They're surprisingly cushy for such a slim shoe. I just really hope they'll come out in more colours!! (orange, red or white)"

Marie (5/5)

Newer version not as good

"New version is not as good as the previous. The toe area is narrower and the shoe tends to slip off more easily. The sizing is also different. Use to wear a 7. 5 and thought it would be the same but had to exchange for an 8 instead. Still not as comfortable though as the previous version."

New version is terrible

"The new version is really bad, the front section of the shoe is much narrower, and the materials can’t compare to the old version - it was very comfortable, the new version lost it"

Ally (1/5)

"So comfortable, and machine washable!"

fiona (5/5)

Not what they used to be

"Revised insoles and shoes lead to a lot of sliding around and blisters. The new shoe/insole (tencel) combination doesn't breathe as well as the old insoles (castor bean oil foam/wool), so they tend to stink up faster than they used to. Allbirds Australia don't sell spare insoles any more - I'm slowly running out of spares from my old shoes. These were my go to for years - I've had 9 pairs, 5 different colours. I'm looking for a new every day flat now."
